Company fundraisers
When users pick the fundraiser type 'Company', it will impact the further steps in the fundraiser creation flow and also the communication. We will collect information about the company and the contact person or persons creating the page. Unlike most other fundraisers, we create the user simultaneously with the fundraiser. This is our 'enhanced' birthday and anniversary fundraiser option. They are made and designed to give a better experience for the fundraiser, hopefully resulting in repeat fundraisers and increased loyalty. Sponsored fundraisers can accept sponsorships in addition to donations. A sponsorship is when a person sponsors the fundraiser with a rate for each unit of activity the person registers. For example, a sponsorship could be €0.50 (the rate) per KM for 100 (the registered activity) KM biked (the unit), equalling a total donation of €50. This feature is only available on Standard and Premium plans. This is our 'enhanced' in-memory fundraiser option. They are designed to give a better experience for the fundraiser and donors. Fundraiser tools
Fundraisers have a separate "dashboard" for managing their fundraisers—we call it Fundraiser Tools. NOTE: Fundraiser Tools are only available for peer-to-peer fundraisers at this time. In Memory fundraisers can manage their fundraisers directly from the fundraiser page. It includes the following features: A prominent progress bar, with an easy way to update the fundraiser goal as the fundraiser progresses. Each fundraiser has a mobile donation form. These are short donation forms optimised for use when sharing on mobile. They only have mobile payments as an option (so only MobilePay (DK), Swish (SE), and Vipps (NO)). These can be used when the contact details of donors are less important. The mobile donation form is mainly used for a unique QR code linking to this form. This makes it possible to promote the QR code in physical spaces, where donors can make a very quick donation using their mobileSome readersQR codes for fundraising pages
QR codes are images that, when scanned on a phone, take a person directly to a specific website. They are basically scannable links. Most modern phones can scan QR codes using their cameras, only requiring the person to simply hold the camera in front of a code for a short period, and their phone will automatically take them to the website. This is a special view of the fundraising page made to fit TV screens in a 16:9 format. It live-updates without the need to refresh the page and shows the last 6 donations (with names but without comments) together with the progress bar. You can edit the 'created by' field on your fundraiser so it shows something other than the name of your user profile. This can be relevant if you are fundraising as a group or a company. To do this, first log in and go to the edit fundraiser page. Simply add the new name under the 'Name shown' field.Few readersDonation thank you messages
Fundraisers can add a thank-you message to all donations on their fundraising page. Every time a new fundraiser is created, the user automatically receives a welcome email with tips and tricks on how to get the most out of their fundraising experience. In addition, a number of triggered emails will be sent out. This can be everything from how to optimise your fundraising page, to a congratulations email for reaching a goal, or a reminder that no donations have been coming in for a while. Every time a fundraiser receives a new donation, the fundraiser can receive an email notification in their inbox. This is the default. They can choose to either disable these notifications or have them grouped into daily or weekly notifications.Few readersFundraiser status update
Fundraisers can update their donors and page visitors on their fundraising progress and news by using the update functionality. An update will be placed in the activity stream and can be created by the fundraiser when logged in. They can create the update directly from their fundraising page at the top of the activity stream.
