The "General Work" project

All organisation/charity accounts start out with a default project. The name is "[your organisation name]'s General Work".

This project is the default project of your organisation, and is the only project that cannot be deleted—neither by BetterNow nor by you.

Donations made to your organisation outside of a fundraiser on all BetterNow platforms, etc., will be attached to this project.

We strongly encourage you to keep this project as general as possible. If you want to rename it, you can do so, but you should keep it general. For example – "Help where it is most needed".

The description of the General Work project will automatically be copied from the text you supply when creating your profile initially, but this can of course be edited.

If you wish to earmark projects, we recommend you create a new project to be able to specify how the money received under that project will be spent.
