Suggested donation amounts

In the donation forms, the suggested donation amounts are:

• GBP: 30, 60, 120
• EUR: 40, 80, 160
• DKK: 250, 500, 1000
• SEK/NOK: 300, 500, 1000

In addition, the donor can always pick their own amount.

We have found these donation points after doing extensive testing on these amounts. The best results were actually found at even higher suggested amounts, but we also don’t want donors to feel inadequate for not picking one of the suggested amounts.

Charities on the standard or premium subscription can change these on a project level. It could be that your campaign is using specific donation points to communicate its impact, or perhaps you know that a certain target group for a project is more or less affluent than the average.

In general, we would warn against setting these too low. The average donation amount will be severely affected by lowering it.
